We’re happy as clams today to announce a collaboration that’s been in the works for a while now. After seeing Hands play IGIF’s Floating Fest at CMJ 2011 (and then hunting them down for a few more of their shows) we knew we had to put something out, and we’re thrilled that that something is Hands’ debut Massive Context EP.

Premiere: Mansions On The Moon "Lightyears" EP
Mansions On The Moon has only been together for about a year, but they’ve already worked with N.E.R.D., toured with Mac Miller and Wiz Khalifa, and put out a mixtape with Diplo & Benzi. The trio, who is working closely with Pharrell Williams, will be dropping their Lightyears EP on Valentines Day and now we’ve got one last track before the release. The entire EP is written and produced by MOTM and executive produced by Pharrell. Listen to “Take A Look” below and look out for for the EP February 14th.

After an extremely successful mixtape, ‘Paradise Falls’ presented By Diplo , Benzi and the N.E.R.D team, Los Angeles Indie Rock band, MANSIONS ON THE MOON are at it again presenting their signature sound through an epic remix of the 2011 breakout band of the year, FOSTER THE PEOPLE’S“ LIFE ON THE NICKEL”. MOTM will also be releasing their highly anticipated 5 song EP “LIGHTYEARS” Executive Produced by Pharrell Williams (N.E.R.D/NEPTUNES) in November. Dropping one song a week, each track is attached with custom artwork which can be downloaded as a digital booklet and packaged with limited edition poster art. Elisabeth Maurus aka Lissie swung through with Billboard for a midday rooftop jam session at Mophonics in New York. The Rock Island, Illinois native and her band mates, Eric Sullivan (guitar) and Lewis Keller (bass, kick drum & hi-hat) delivered a high-energy set in the August heat.
